Just
got a new puppy? Want a confident, well-behaved pet? The most
critical time in your puppy's life is right-now - puppyhood! Learn
how to teach the basic behaviors of sit, down, come, stay, leave it,
settle, and walk on a loose leash. Common puppy problems, such as
house training, puppy biting, jumping up and good puppy management
are covered. Puppies get plenty of time to play off leash and
socialize, plus an intro to puppy agility. Includes Pets Behave
training manual, clicker, certificate, and toy.
A note about vaccines: Pets
Behave follows the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviors
position statement on puppy socialization. In general, puppies can
start socialization classes as early as 8 weeks of age. Puppies
should receive a minimum of one set of vaccinations at least 7 days
prior to the first class and a first de-worming. They should be
kept up to date on vaccinations throughout the
classes.
